Government sends in chainsaws to Brushy Reserve
"It's unsurprising that the Government has not turned up with drilling equipment today at the Brushy Rivulet Reserve.
As we said yesterday, there was no way that they can access the Reserve because of the vegetation.
They are now on site with chainsaws which will inevitably be needed to clear a path for the large vehicles they propose to drive through there.
For the Government to blame onlookers for their botch-up yesterday is disgraceful.
They are now clearly starting their destruction of the Reserve in earnest," said Linda Poulton.
